Addition, Page 36: He married (1) Sarah Stuart Ward, daughter of Benjamin Ward9, … [Add to footnote 9, page 37] Benjamin Ward of Warren Co., N.C., left a will dated 24 Oct. 1788 and proved Nov. 1788 (Warren Co., N.C., Will Bk. 5, p. 40). Among his bequests to his children was one to daughter Sarah Stuart Ward (and her husband, should she marry) of a life estate in Negroes Dinah and Violet, with reversion to their children, if any, and the provision that Marcellus Jordan and his wife Martha (another of B. Ward's daugters) were to take Sarah into their care until she came of age, clothing, feeding and schooling her. On 29 Nov. 1808 David Sebrill [sic] gave bond for £500 as administrator of the estate of Sarah S. Sebrill [sic], deceased (Warren Co., N.C., Will Bk. 14, p. 257), with Seth Ward as security.

Issue: [Miller] i. Edward Alonzo9, born 2 Oct. 1886 at Alliance, Ohio and died Nov. 1945. He married 18 Aug. 1906 Mary Nina Stainbrook who was born 9 Dec. 1887 in Ohio and died 14 Oct. 1934. ii.
